mysterious of mind
Known
When you wake up in the morning, you may notice that the Sun is just rising, you may hear a few birds chirping, and you may feel a glow of excitement as the morning breeze blows your face. In other words, you know. This complex topic has plagued the scientific community for a long time. Recently neuroscientists have sought to determine if this is a reasonable research topic. The biggest inspiration in this field has been to explain how processes in the brain produce a subjective experience. So far, scientists have been able to make a vast list of questions.
It's too deep
Everlasting life may become a reality. But the pioneer field called cryonics can give some people two lives. Cryonics institutions such as the Avor Life Extension Foundation, in Arizona, keep corpses after being filled with liquid nitrogen-coated at low temperatures of degrees Fahrenheit (about 195 degrees Celsius).
The idea is that a person who dies of an incurable disease can now shrink and regenerate in the future when a cure is found. The body of a legendary baseball legend, Ted Williams is kept at one of Alcor's free stores. Like other popsicles of humanity, William has his head down. That way, if there is ever a swelling in the tank, the brain will always be immersed in cold water. None of the reincarnated themes have been renewed, because technology does not exist. On the other hand, if the body is not subjected to the same temperature, human cells can turn into ice and explode into pieces.
The Mystery of Death
Eternal life is Hollywood. But why do people grow old? You were born with a powerful toolbox full of ways to fight disease and injury, which you would think should support your fight against joint disease. But as we grow older, bodybuilding techniques come out of nowhere. In fact, your risk of injury and stress is reduced.
Ideas about why people of all ages can be divided into two categories:
1) Like all other human factors, aging is simply a part of the human genome and has some advantages.
2) In hindsight, aging has little to do with the effects of cell phone damage during a lifetime. Few researchers, however, think that science will eventually slow down the aging process at least for a long time.
Environment vs Nutrition
In the long-running struggle that our thoughts and personality are directly influenced by genetics or nature, scientists have developed a body of convincing evidence that it can be either or both of them! The ability to learn certain types of genetics reveals many aspects of human behavior that we cannot control, but in many places, peer pressure or the way we were raised were strongly influenced by who we are and what we do.
Brain Teaser
Laughter is one of the most understandable forms of human behavior. Scientists have discovered that during a good laugh three parts of the brain are illuminated: The part of the brain that helps you find jokes, the area of movement that tells your muscles to move, and the area that stimulates emotions that evoke a sense of "confusion". But it is always unknown why one person laughs at your brother's stupid jokes while the other mocks while watching a horror movie.
John Morreall, a pioneer in comedy research at William and Mary's College, has found that laughter is a playful response to injustice - news that does not live up to expectations. Some in the comedy field point out laughter as a way to show someone that the act is said to be "fun." One thing is clear: Laughter makes us feel better.
Memory mode
It’s hard to forget some of your experiences, like your first kiss. But how does one stick to these films themselves? Using brainstorming techniques, scientists have discovered a process that involves building and storing memories. They found that the hippocampus, within the gray matter of the brain, could function as a memory box. But this last place is not racist. It turns out that both true and false memories work in the same brain regions. To exclude real memory, some researchers request a study to remember memory in context, something more difficult if the event did not occur.
Equipment Management
Sitting in the hypothalamus of the brain, suprachiasmatic nucleus, or clock, sets the body to follow a 24-hour rhythm. The most obvious effect of circadian rhythms is the sleep cycle, but the biological clock has an effect on digestion, body temperature, blood pressure, and hormone production.
Researchers have found that strong light can shift the clock back and forth by regulating the hormone melatonin. A recent issue is whether or not melatonin supplements can help prevent jet lag - the sleepows, achy sensing you get when "jetting" in time zones.
Phantom Feelings
It is estimated that about 80 percent of amputees experience emotions, including warmth, itching, pressure, and pain, resulting from a lost test. People who experience this condition, known as the “phantom limb,” feel as if a lost limb is part of their body. One theory states that the sensory region where the joint ruptured connected the spinal cord and continues to send signals to the brain as if the missing limb were still present. Another possibility is that the brain is "hard-wired" to function as if the body were completely full - meaning that the brain contains the entire image of the attached organs.
Sleuth is asleep
Fruit flies do it. Tigers do it. And people do not seem to have enough. No, not that. Speaking of a closed eye, it is very important that we spend more than a quarter of our lives on it. But the basic reasons for sleeping are always as amazing as a bizarre dream.
One thing scientists know: Sleep is essential for survival in mammals. Excessive sleep deprivation can lead to mood swings, cataracts, and in extreme cases death. There are two sleep patterns - slow eye movement (NREM), in which the brain produces low metabolic activity, and rapid eye movement (REM), in which the brain is most active. Some scientists think that NREM sleep gives your body a break, and then saves energy, such as hibernation. REM sleep can help organize memories. However, this theory has not been proven, and dreams during REM sleep are not always linked to memories.
sweet Dreams
If you were to ask 10 people what dreams are made of, you would get 10 different answers. This is because scientists continue to unravel this mystery.
One possibility: To dream that you are using the brain by stimulating the movement of synapses between brain cells. One theory is that people dream of activities and emotions that they did not take care of during the day, and that the process can help strengthen their thoughts and memories. In general, scientists agree
